Mohammad Mominul Hoque Bhuiyan, FCMA takes office as the Chief Accounts and Finance Officer (CAFO), Pension and Fund Management (P&FM). In an office order on 14.07.2020, CGA Office appointed Md Bhuiyan as the CAFO P&FM.
Mr. Bhuiyan formally took charge of CAFO PFM on 22.07.2020 and has become the 2nd CAFO of PFM and 6th head of the office. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Additional Controller General of Accounts (Accounts and Procedure) at office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA).
Mr. Bhuiyan was born on 25th May, 1977 in a respectable Muslim family.
He has a long-cherished excellency in educational career. He passed SSC (Humanities) from Motijheel Model High School, Dhaka and HSC (Commerce) from Notre Dame College, Dhaka. Then he got himself admitted in University of Dhaka. he completed his BBA(Hons.) and MBA degree in “Accounting” in 1998 and 1999 respectively. In 2007, he completed another Master degree on “Public Economic Management and Finance” from university of Birmingham. He became “Associate member” and “Fellow member” of “Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB)” in 2013 and 2019 respectively.
He started his career in 2002 as a lecturer of Accounting in Asian University of Bangladesh. In 2003, as a member of 22nd Batch of BCS ‘Audit and Accounts cadre’, he started serving as civil servant of Bangladesh.
During his career in civil service, he served in various important offices starting from Assistant Director (Commercial Audit Directorate), Deputy Finance Controller (Senior Finance Controller, Defense Purchase), Deputy Director (Foreign Aided Projects Audit Directorate), Deputy Finance Controller (Senior Finance Controller of Air Force), Assistant Comptroller and Auditor General (Report) at SAI of Bangladesh, Manager (Financial Management) of National Agricultural Technology Project (NATP, Phase-1), Assistant Executive Project Director (Fund Management ) of Skills Development Coordination and Monitoring unit (SDCMU) & Skills for Employment Investment program (SEIP). In all posts he successfully exercised his extraordinary merit as an adept civil servant.
As a part of sharpening the excellency of civil service members, Mr. Bhuiyan participated in various seminar, workshop and conferences. Mr. Bhuiyan also visited many countries like USA, UK, Malaysia, France, Australia, Germany, India, Denmark, Indonesia, Singapore, Estonia, Sweden, Thailand etc. for different purposes.
While in the post of Additional Controller General of Accounts (Accounts and Procedure), he received the "Integrity Award, 2019" given by the "Controller General of Accounts" in recognition of his practice of integrity.
He is married and successful father of two children (One Son and One Daughter).
